Art Submmission Information
Vector Art
Files that are going to be printed in spot colors are usually vector art. Vector art allows resizing of art without changing the quality. Vector art is the BEST art to give us.
ACCEPTABLE FILE EXTENSIONS
.ai (Adobe Illustrator CS3 or lower)
.eps
.pdf (no placed images)
UNACCEPTABLE FILE EXTENSIONS
Word documents (.doc), PowerPoint (.ppt) and other non-graphic programs. Corel Draw (.cdr) and Freehand (.fh) are not supported. Please ask your designer to export files in .eps format.
TIPS FOR CREATING VECTOR ART
Convert all text to outlines.
Do not use placed or linked images within the file (photographic images, etc.).
Include Pantone® (PMS) color palette.
Photo Realistic Art (Raster)
Raster art is used for HiRes (4-color process). All photographic or photo realistic images should be submitted as raster art. Resizing raster artwork will directly affect image quality. Therefore it is important to submit raster artwork at its full size and resolution. Any sizing of raster art will lower the resolution and create jagged (pixelated) edges.

.psd (Adobe Photoshop CS3 or lower) - Preferred format
.jpg (HiRes 300 dpi)
.tiff
.pdf (no placed images)
TIPS FOR CREATING RASTER ART
Provide art at 300 dpi or greater at 100% of final printed size.
Minimum resolution accepted is 150 dpi at final print size (quality will be marginal).
Pantone® (PMS) matches are not needed. If requested, Pantone® (PMS) matches will require added screens (touchplates).
